Junkers has signed a long-term agreement with FIBA, the global governing body of basketball, to serve as a global supplier of wood flooring by 2024.
The FIBA statement was signed on September 7, 2021, detailing the multi-event partnership that will cover the FIBA elite international competitions in the next three years, including the 2022 FIBA European Basketball Championship and the 2023 FIBA European Basketball Championship. Basketball World Cup and the 2024 Paris Olympic Basketball Championship.
Junkers will provide its latest generation professional portable sports floor system Pro Complete 44 for all three games. The basketball courts of FIBA EuroBasket 2022 and FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 will be customized according to the unique brand of each event.
Junkers portable sports floor is made of solid hardwood, providing professional and flexible options for various sports events. The floor system fully complies with the EN 14904 standard and has excellent shock absorption and pinball performance. For international-level competitions, a durable floor is indispensable, and Junkers’ portable professional sports floor provides a sustainable choice because it can be used repeatedly, which is ideal because it is used for many large-scale sports events. With the new global supplier agreement, Junkers and FIBA will continue to maintain a partnership after Junkers as the official court supplier of the 2017 European Basketball Championship, and will be the basketball player for the 2009 European Basketball Championship and the 2004 Athens Olympic Games. The competition provides a sports floor system.

The agreement was signed after all FIBA International European Basketball World Cup and the Union of the 2023.
